Kaitlyn and Paul are the proud founders of The Black Cat Lounge — a dream brought to life through their shared love of rescue cats and community. What started as a small idea inspired by their own cats, Maze and Winston, has grown into a cozy, welcoming space where people and felines can connect, relax, and find joy.

Maze & Winston
Maze and Winston are the beloved cats who inspired The Lounge. Their playful personalities, endless cuddles, and ability to bring comfort on the toughest days sparked the idea to create a space where others could experience that same kind of magic. Their spirit and mischief are at the heart of everything we do.
Phoebe
With her big ears and even bigger personality, Phoebe, a fennec fox is a fun and unexpected part of Black Cat Lounge. While she doesn’t live at the lounge and her presence isn’t guaranteed, she occasionally makes her way to work and loves to check in on all the action. From her spot behind the front desk, she greets guests with curious looks and the occasional chatter. While Phoebe isn’t available for petting, she’s always happy to say hi and bring a little extra personality to your visit.
Copper
Copper is our resident cat. While she may not seek out pets, Copper thrives in her own way, finding joy in playtime and forming strong bonds with the other cats around her. The Lounge has become her safe place, where her personality shines and she feels most at home. Her presence and unique spirit reflect what The Black Cat Lounge is all about — creating a space where every cat is accepted, understood, and loved just as they are.
